The world can feel very uncertain and unsafe at the moment, that’s why I invite you to find some gratitude in your daily life. Here are some tips on how to have more of a grateful mindset.
- You get to choose it. Gratitude will never be a result of your next success, accomplishment or purchase. It is available for you to be grateful at every waking moment. Making a conscious decision to become grateful for the things you have can shift a bad day instantly into a good one.
- Be grateful for the simple things. A new day, a warm bed, a loving family or the food in your belly. We all have such wonderful things already in our lives that if we take a moment to reflect on these your mood can change immeasurably.
- Come to the present moment. Being in the moment of now can be a peaceful place, take a look around and observe your surroundings. To find the simplest thing can bring joy and an abundance of gratitude.
I find keeping a gratitude journal so helpful. Just write down 3 to 5 things that you are grateful for each day can lift your mood and release any feelings towards negative things happening. Love & Gratitude Kim
